Ebue-neki, Edo State, Nigeria
Located in southeastern Nigeria, Ebue-Nneki is a resilient rural village home to approximately 4,000 people. For years, the community has faced daily challenges accessing clean and safe water. Through the Nigeria Water Project, we're building a solar-powered borehole to provide sustainable, life-changing water access—improving health, education, and opportunity for generations to come.
development phase
The borehole located in the Ebue-Neki has began it’s development phase. We’ve successfully reached our water point underground and it is successfully pumping clean water. See in videos below as residents have already start fetching water. We still have more work to do as we need to complete the piping and infrastructure.
